City of Dreams Manila recognized the exemplary honesty of public area attendant Glecerio Gonzales who turned over a paper bag containing one million pesos cash after discovering the item unattended at the gaming area. The luxury resort’s security team promptly returned the cash to the patron on the same day that it was found.
Gonzales received a Colleague of Distinction certificate and a cash reward from City of Dreams Manila Property President Geoff Andres. “We are proud of Glecerio for his integrity and applaud him for doing the right thing, exemplifying the highest ethical standards embodied in our corporate culture,” Andres stated. He adds that the honesty and conduct of Gonzales further underscore City of Dreams Manila’s 2022 Work Here, Work Happy global award from Forbes Travel Guide, which recognized the resort’s various initiatives for fostering colleagues’ professional growth and work-life balance.
Gonzales, 32 has worked for 10 years in the hospitality industry, including five years as Environmental Services Attendant at Studio City in Macau, which, like City of Dreams, is a property of Melco Resorts & Entertainment Ltd. He rejoined the Manila resort in 2022 and now moves on to join the Housekeeping pre-opening team of City of Dreams Mediterranean, which will open in June this year as the largest and premier integrated resort in Europe.
