Amy Lingga takes the helm at The Seed & lead its expansion across Indonesia

With more than two decades in the hospitality industry, Lingga joins The Seed as CEO. Passionate about women in hospitality; her first move is to lift the lid on the secret of Seed and welcome individual bookings to the estate

The Seed, a luxury villa estate on 6,400 square meters of oceanfront and jungle-backed land in Candidasa, East Bali, announces the appointment of Amy Lingga as Chief Executive Officer, a move that aims to take the property to the next level of luxury in Bali whilst guiding its expansion into new Indonesian destinations.

Lingga steps into the role with a clear aim: to elevate The Seed into Bali’s finest niche luxury destination while giving back to Karangasem, the community she has long called home. Her work will concentrate on perfecting the estate’s signature details, enhancing its serenity, honoring its concept, and offering an experience guests cannot find elsewhere.

While Candidasa serves as The Seed’s flagship location, the brand is preparing to expand into new destinations across Indonesia. Rather than replicating a rigid template, the expansion translates the core ethos of a deep sense of place, intuitive design, and personalized hospitality into new landscapes.

“True luxury is not about excess. It is about intention, quiet, and living in harmony with the land. I am delighted to have been trusted with the Seed brand – our focus is to protect that core experience while carrying that same level of distinction into new destinations across Indonesia.”Amy Lingga, Chief Executive Officer, The Seed

About The Seed

The Seed was built around a different idea of luxury: less about scale, more about how a place makes you feel. Every villa is designed to sit close to the land it’s built on, oceanfront, garden, or jungle so guests feel Candidasa’s serenity from the moment they arrive, whether they book a single villa or the whole estate.

That same intention runs through the property’s design: an oceanfront pool with a five-metre diving platform, cascading jungle pools and a private waterfall, a yoga shala, infrared sauna and cold plunge, an oceanside cinema, a music recording studio, and a 90-square-metre soundproof entertainment basement, details built to give guests an experience they can’t book anywhere else in Bali.

Bridging ultra-luxury privacy with raw Bali exploration, The Seed offers tailored access to the island’s most exclusive adventures. From private helicopter tours, custom yacht charters, to private on-site kecak performances, the estate unifies high adventure, rich heritage, and intuitive hospitality into a single, seamless stay. Recent high profile guests have included DJ Fred Again from the UK and The Real Tarzan from the US.
