Going out of town for your birthday isn’t always the first option you will think of. A simple dinner with family feels enough most of the time. But my family decided to celebrate mine differently this year. They found a beautiful place in Batangas which is perfect for a family getaway- CaSoBe. Before I knew it, the reservation was confirmed, and my birthday weekend family adventure was set.
As soon as we reached CaSoBe, the vacation mode instantly turned on- I thought that was the start. Not until we reached the front desk where the warmth of the staff’s welcome officially signaled the start of everything wonderful. I can compare it to the feeling of how you are welcomed by a relative when you step into their home in the province — that genuine happiness of seeing you arrive and making you feel you are welcome.
The inside was just as impressive. The place is thoughtfully designed — modern and cozy and can comfortably fit four people. It has a stylish living area surrounded with glass panels giving you a refreshing outdoor view. There is a space for everyone to chill — whether watching TV, scrolling through phones, or simply enjoying the moment.
The bedroom is indeed a sanctuary- it defines the kind of relaxation you expect. The king-sized bed with a soft sofa on the side and another TV made it feel like home away from home. But here is the biggest surprise – the skyroof which is opened with remote control. Who would imagine you can do stargazing right from your bed in your airconditioned room? That is absolutely unforgettable.
It was almost sunset and the teens grabbed their cameras for their aesthetic beach photos. The beach is just a few steps away or you can have a short bike ride as each cabin is provided by its own bike. At the beach, the atmosphere was vibrant yet peaceful. I love seeing families swimming, kids playing in the sand, couples in their pre-nup photo shoots and groups sharing pizzas and drinks which they ordered and delivered from the restaurant at the resort.
About the food, Captain Barbozza, CaSoBe’s main dining spot is a place for real food satisfaction. Everything we tried from hearty meals to light snacks, was so delicious and generous in serving. The drinks are superb as well whether it’s a fruit shake, hot coffee, or a frappe. They’ve given our cravings the best deals at surprisingly friendly prices.
As the night fell, we decided to take a walk around the resort. We are so amazed staring at the glowing LED lights from the cabins that give off a beautiful, futuristic charm that blends perfectly with the cool, tranquil air of the surrounding nature. When you are at Apollo Aeropods you get to see the best of both worlds, where modern comfort meets serene outdoor beauty.
The next morning, my nephew was so excited to try the Aquaria Waterpark. It has a giant pool, a kiddie pool for the little ones, surrounded with cabanas and a thrilling three-storey slide that he can’t wait to experience for himself. This water fun place is indeed a pure joy for the young ones and the young at heart.
Within CaSoBe, there is a perfect spot for everyone. If you want to stay right in front of the beach or very near the beach, the Crusoe cabins are for you. When you want your vacation to be like a glamping experience try their Cupola. While the Cocoons are designed for couples.
Our stay at Casobe became a perfect family escape — no one was left behind, not even our beloved fur baby. The place doesn’t just allow pets; it genuinely welcomes them as well as part of the family. From the time we arrived, we could feel how much they value our pets as much as they value us. Want to know the sweetest surprise? A special set of pet treats were delivered right to our cabin especially for our little doggie. Isn’t that a heartwarming gesture? Such an act made us,fur parents, feel our beloved pet is truly seen and appreciated.

When it was time to leave, we couldn’t help but take one (and more) last look around. I can surely say that every corner is worth remembering. We hadn’t even left yet, but our minds are already planning for our next visit. We are so excited to share the experience with our friends too.
