The Asia Awards Organization is proud to officially announce the winners of the 2025 season for two of its prestigious awards programs: the 3rd Asia Architecture Design Awards (AADA) and the inaugural Asia Hospitality Awards (AHA). These accolades continue to honor and celebrate excellence, innovation across Asia’s dynamic architecture and hospitality industries.
A Season of Growth, Creativity & Excellence
This year’s edition has been a landmark moment for both awards, with an impressive pool of submissions and participants from across the region. The 2025 Season of Asia Awards Organization accepted entries from August 2024 to March 2025, attracting exceptional talent and groundbreaking projects.
Asia Architecture Design Awards (AADA)
Now in its third edition, the 2025 season witnessed a marked increase in both the volume and geographic diversity of submissions, with first-time entries from Kazakhstan and Turkey, bringing fresh perspectives that enriched the competition alongside consistently strong submissions from countries like Thailand, India, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Japan.
With 110 shortlisted entries, several categories saw intense competition, particularly Asia’s Best Hospitality Architecture Design, Asia’s Best Residential Architecture Design, Asia’s Best Conceptual Architecture Design, and Asia’s Best Residential Interior Design, challenging the jury to make highly nuanced decisions. The resulting 63 2025 AADA official winners exemplify the spirit of “Vibrant Asia” through bold narratives, cultural authenticity, and visionary design thinking.
This year also saw the successful debut of the Student League, welcoming emerging talent into the professional fold. Among the standout student entries were Mỹ Gia Villa, a contemporary homage to vernacular living, and PrayaEdge, a climate-resilient coastal vision, both praised for their clarity, ambition, and emotional resonance.
Collectively, this year’s winners reflect an increasingly diverse, thoughtful, and future-facing architectural landscape in Asia, which not only meet rigorous technical and aesthetic standards but also address social, cultural, and ecological urgencies with intelligence and sensitivity.
The inaugural Asia Hospitality Awards launched with an ambitious mission: to spotlight excellence in hospitality and travel across Asia, and to enhance the development of the tourism industry in the region.
The first edition of AHA was met with remarkable industry enthusiasm, culminating in 74 shortlisted projects from a robust pool of submissions that highlighted the breadth, innovation, and refinement of Asia’s hospitality sector. Key categories, including Asia’s Finest City Hotel, Asia’s Finest Wellness Retreat/Sanctuary, Asia’s Finest Concept Resort, and Asia’s Finest Special Achievement for Hotel Manager, showcased outstanding entries.
Notably, a special category for “Asia’s Finest Dinner Cruise” was introduced, honoring exemplary operators in the dinner cruise sector. This special recognition was determined through expert council nomination and independent evaluation, setting a new precedent for this potential hospitality model in the region.
A total of 33 inaugural AHA’s official winners were selected for their ability to integrate design excellence, service quality, cultural storytelling, and brand alignment, resulting in emotionally compelling, and operationally refined guest experiences.
The impressive quality and scope of submissions in this first year far exceeded expectations, affirming the industry’s readiness for meaningful recognition and regional dialogue.
