Cebu Pacific (CEB), the Philippines’ leading carrier, is set to launch direct flights from Osaka to Cebu, allowing more Japanese travelers to enjoy Cebu’s white sand beaches and try local delicacies.
Starting October 15, 2024, CEB will operate flights between Osaka and Cebu four times weekly – every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. CEB also offers daily flights between Narita and Cebu.
CEB will be the only airline to offer direct flights between Osaka and Cebu.
“We are thrilled to launch direct flights from Osaka to Cebu. As a city known for its pristine beaches and warm hospitality, Cebu is sure to give travelers from Osaka a blissful retreat. We hope that the launch of the Osaka-Cebu route will encourage more travelers from Japan to explore the beauty of the Philippines,” said Xander Lao, CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer.
From July 22 to 31, 2024, CEB travelers may book flights from Osaka to Cebu for as low as JPY 3,000 one-way base fare, exclusive of fees and surcharges. The travel period will run from October 15, 2024 to March 31, 2025.
With flights to Cebu made more convenient, travelers from Osaka now have more reason to experience the breathtaking Moalboal Sardine Run, go island-hopping from the white sand beaches of Mactan, or indulge in Cebu’s famous lechon and dried mangos.
Passengers may use their credit or debit cards, as well as their existing Travel Funds, to book flights and avail of other add-ons.
CEB currently flies to 35 domestic and 25 international destinations spread across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
