Glutinous Rice Dumpling with Osmanthus and Sweet Potato (1 piece), & Glutinous Rice Dumpling with Whitebait, Conpoy and Termite Mushroom (1 piece), paired with Yingde Black Tea No. 9 at HKD 488 per set.
The fragrant sweet dumpling offers a unique take on traditional alkaline dumplings by incorporating sweet potato. Osmanthus honey is drizzled over the amber, translucent dessert to enhance the flavours. The new savoury creation reveals glutinous rice infused with delicate whitebait and umami-rich conpoy, elevated by the earthy notes of termite mushrooms. Each dumpling weighs approximately 300 grams.

Lung King Heen’s classic rice dumpling, beloved by many patrons, will make a return this year. It is made with two pieces of South African abalone, conpoy, Chinese mushroom, and salted egg yolk, promising an abundance of Cantonese delight. Organic ten-grain rice is used to add fibre and nourishment to this treat. The rice dumpling is boiled for at least four hours and simmered in hot water for 10 hours to achieve that sticky and chewy texture from mung beans and glutinous rice. Each dumpling weighs approximately 300 grams and is perfect for sharing among four people.

Following the success of last year’s inaugural collaboration, Lung King Heen is excited to announce its second year of partnership with Macallan for a one-night-only event on June 21, 2024. Executive Chinese Chef Chan Yan Tak and his team have crafted a sumptuous 6-course dinner (HKD 6,880* per person) with exquisite delicacies such as the Braised Whole 30 Heads Yoshihama Abalone with French Duck Liver in Supreme Chicken Pottage, and Wok-fried Australian Quail Fillet with Organic Black Garlic and Dried Chilli. Each dish is thoughtfully paired with a unique whisky and personally explained by Macallan’s expert.
