The Department of Tourism (DOT) celebrates the inclusion of five Philippine hotelsβFairmont Makati, Manila Marriott Hotel at Newport World Resorts, Solaire Resort Entertainment City, Raffles Makati, and Shangri-La The Fort, Manilaβ in the prestigious MICHELIN Guide Hotels List, raising the countryβs total recognized properties to eleven.
The inclusion of these DOT-accredited hotels in the MICHELIN Guide not only strengthens the Philippinesβ positioning as a destination of choice for world-class hotel and tourism experiences, but also affirms the renowned Filipino warmth and excellence in hospitality, which serve as hallmarks of the countryβs tourism brand under the Marcos administration.
These five hotels join six other hotels that were first recognized by the MICHELIN Guide in 2024, namely Admiral Hotel Manila – MGallery, Amanpulo, Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan, Hotel Okura Manila, Nay Palad Hideaway, and The Peninsula Manila.
Earlier this year, the MICHELIN Guide announced its arrival in the Philippines, with its first-ever edition expected to launch in 2026.
