With all the ports of entry fully opened, the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) welcomed last February 6, visitors at the Heung Yuen Wai / Liantang control point, where passenger clearance service was newly introduced, and the resumed Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau/Huanggang control points, handing out welcoming gift packs to arriving visitors. The HKTB’s Visitor Center at Heung Yuen Wai/Liantang Control Point also commenced service, providing travel information to visitors and distributing “Hong Kong Goodies” visitor consumption vouchers.
The HKTB hands out gift packs to visitors today. Each gift pack includes shopping mall spending vouchers, theme park offers and souvenirs, gift set from beauty stores, and authentic Hong Kong food.
The HKTB has rolled out a series of “Hello Hong Kong” global promotions, including waves of exciting offers for visitors in partnership with more than 16,000 outlets across Hong Kong as a welcome gesture. Among these, at least one million sets of “Hong Kong Goodies” visitor consumption vouchers worth at least HK$100 each are currently distributed by the HKTB to welcome visitors.
