Celebrate Chinese New Year with great foods from hotel-based Chinese restaurants

Chinese New Year is one of the best celebrated holidays in the world, especially in mainland China. In the Philippines, Filipinos have their own version of celebrating the lunar new year. Of course, the most elaborate or colorful celebrations are held in Binondo or China Town. Like any place in the world, great holidays are normally accompanied by great foods. To celebrate Chinese New Year, we visited the digital platforms of five hotel-based Chinese restaurants in Metro Manila and peek at their food offerings.

1. Canton Road, Shangri-La at the Fort

2. Jasmine, New World Makati Hotel

Celebrate the Lunar New Year with Jasmine’s premium set menus highlighting the Salmon Yu Sheng salad, Pan-fried garoupa fillet, Wok-fried beef tenderloin, Deep-fried spare ribs, Seafood fried rice, Glutinous rice dumpling, Dark sugar coconut sticky rice cake, & Mango cream sago. A la carte and all-you-can-eat menus are also available. Set Menus are PHP8,888 net per table of four. All-you-can-eat dim sum is PHP1,688 net.
