Thailand to implement “No-Quarantine ” for tourists from 63 countries/territories, including the Philippines

Thailand will accept fully vaccinated foreign visitors, including returning Thais and foreign residents, from the approved countries/territories to enter the Kingdom by air with no quarantine requirements from 1 November 2021. This is based on the latest press release issued by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).

Three ways for foreign visitors to enter Thailand

There are three ways for foreign visitors to enter Thailand. One is the “Test & Go” or visitors will just undergo the COVID-19 test upon arrival and if found negative, he/she will be allowed to proceed to his/her desired destination.

Two is the “Living in the Blue Zone” or where foreign travelers are to choose from several Sandbox Destinations. Thailand also continues to welcome fully vaccinated visitors from countries, not on the list under relaxed requirements. Travelers are welcome to choose from the 17 ‘Blue Zone’ destinations, up from currently 4 ‘Sandbox’ destinations, for their first 7-night mandatory stay within the destination before being able to move on to other parts of Thailand.

And, lastly, is the Alternative Quarantine (AQ) System, or where travelers from countries not mentioned before undergo a mandatory 7 or 10-day quarantine period. Below is the journey from these types of visitors:
